NUR 538 - Community and Public Health Nursing

The course focuses on a theoretical understanding of nursing concepts which are utilized in nurse-community processes while providing nursing services to individuals, families, communities, and aggregates of populations. The student will explore the role of the community health and public health nurse as an interdisciplinary collaborator with other members of the healthcare team. Changing healthcare systems and policies from a global perspective will be explored.
