MUS 473 - Advanced Studies in Music Education

When Offered: Spring
A study of advanced methods and strategies for teaching music within specific contexts (choral, band, orchestra) in middle and high school settings. Students will create and teach lessons, expressing expertise in teaching methods and strategies, as well as observing master teachers in the classroom and studio.
Grade Type: Letter Grade
Fieldwork: 30 hours of observation are required
