NUR 471 - Christian Leadership in Nursing Practicum

When Offered: Fall, Spring, RN-BSN
This course emphasizes the student experience of observing and assuming the role of nurse leader/manager in implementing quality improvement projects. Implications for nursing theory-driven practice, teaching-learning processes, change-persistence, and collaboration with other health care providers is emphasized. Mentors are selected and assigned to students by the course coordinator and/or nursing faculty.
Grade Type: Letter Grade
Practicum: Six (6) hours/week practicum
Prerequisite(s): Permission of the Dean
Pre- or Co- Requisite(s): NUR 470
