CBU’s Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program’s mission is to further the healing ministry of Christ by equipping physician assistants to be thoughtful leaders and lifelong learners of scientific and practical knowledge to improve the health, quality of life, and education of communities. The DMSc program will provide the highest doctoral level practitioner-based medical science education in support of the University’s mission to prepare graduates who are globally minded, academically prepared, equipped to serve, and biblically rooted.

The DMSc doctoral program is designed for PA’s looking to further their careers as professionals in practice, leadership, and research. This program builds upon practicing or emeritus PA’s valuable experiences by enhancing clinical medicine acumen in patient care, utilizing evidence-based medicine, and discovering best practices through research as it relates to leadership and the medical field. The program provides flexibility for working professionals with an online degree format and options of completing the doctoral degree in one or two years.
