Flex Credential Program: Single Subject Classroom

The Flex Credential Program: Single Subject Classroom program offers candidates the opportunity to earn two credentials: Single Subjects and Mild/Moderate. Candidates that earn more than one credential are (1) prepared to fill teaching positions in high-need fields of public education, and (2) offer employers flexibility in making classroom assignment. Fieldwork and clinical hours are required throughout the program to support transferring course content into pedagogical practices.

Additional Admissions Requirements
Admission standards for graduate studies at California Baptist University can be found in the admissions section of the University Catalog. In addition, each candidate must meet the following requirements for this program:

Pass the state-administered California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST) or equivalent prior to admission

Met or registered for at least one subtest of the California State Exam (CSET) for the planned credential content area or equivalent

Verification of Certificate of Clearance granted prior to admission
