The Data Science program at California Baptist University is designed to equip students to fill roles as leaders, decision makers, solutions developers, and consultants in almost any organization that uses data to solve real-world problems; simultaneously, students are equipped with the fundamental understandings of computing systems and statistical modeling needed to enter graduate school or advance the state of the art in data science. The Data Science program includes comprehensive coursework covering the fundamental data science lifecycle, including: 1) data acquisition and representativeness, 2) data management, 3) data preparation and integration, 4) data analysis, 5) model development and deployment and 6) visualization.

Additional Degree Requirements
- Computer science students are required to complete an approved cross-cultural experience. Course credit is not required. A list of approved experiences is available in the College of Engineering.
- Complete pre-approved 200 hours of supervised internship.
- Complete the program assessment exam requirement.
