Students in the Theatre major will demonstrate their ability to prepare and present theatrical skills in design, performance, or musical theatre utilizing various nationally recognized techniques.

Concentration Courses (27-38 units)
Students must complete all requirements in one of the following concentrations: Design for Stage and Screen; Musical Theatre; Performance for Stage and Screen
Design for Stage and Screen (27 units)
Musical Theatre (38 units)
Note
*Musical Theatre concentration students must satisfy the Applied Music Proficiency requirements to enroll in upper-division applied study. They will typically complete this proficiency jury at the end of the fourth semester of applied study. Students will remain in lower-division applied study until they complete the proficiency jury.
