Traditional Degree Program Requirements (124-128 units)

Biomedical Engineers study the human body from an engineering perspective and create high-tech solutions for improving human health. They are well-suited for the design and development of implantables, such as artificial joints or stents, wearables, such as glucose monitors or artificial limbs, and healthcare equipment, such as a medical imaging systems or surgical consoles. Many biomedical engineering graduates select to join cutting-edge research programs where they use their knowledge of science and engineering to expand our understanding of human conditions and develop novel methods to treat disease and disabilities. Through the College of Engineering at California Baptist University the Biomedical Engineering degree program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.
