Faculty Information

Communication is a foundational skill in all sectors of the professional world. And, in a rapidly shifting environment, there has never been a more pressing need for excellent communicators.

Our programs integrate deep conceptual knowledge with strong practical experience, through close collaboration with faith-based faculty mentors whose influence stretches from scholarly research to creative communication production. As a result, students do more than master the technical skills of the discipline - they learn to think critically about the way messages are created, conveyed, and consumed in modern society.

With so many unique ways to communicate, the Communication Arts department offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Studies, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, and Journalism and New Media. In addition, we offer a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Communication. In the Communication Arts department, we are preparing students for careers in a wide variety of communication professions. In this dynamically changing communication landscape, strong communication skills through multitude of platforms translates to professional success.
