PSY 718 - Forensic Assessment

This course focuses on reliable, valid assessment strategies for forensic populations, including personality and projective testing, as well as risk assessment. Attention is devoted to using assessment in the context of DSM-5 diagnosing, risk assessment, not guilty by reason of insanity defenses, and incompetence to stand trial scenarios. The link between assessment and treatment is also presented.
