ARC 535 - Modern Architecture

This course examines various topics in modern and contemporary Western architecture from roughly 1900 to the present, including major architects, monuments, and stylistic and theoretical movements. We will discuss the history of modern architecture in relation to other artistic media such as painting, sculpture, photography, and film, as well as in relation to technological, cultural, and socioeconomic issues.
Prerequisite(s): Master of Architecture student
