The practicum experience prepares the student for independent practice while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide continuity of care across PMH settings. Application of culturally sensitive assessment, diagnosis, planning, management and education is used to promote resilience and recovery. 5 units = 225 hours of supervised clinical practice with a preceptor.
