NUR 561G - Population Health and Applied Biostatistics Global Experience

Student will examine individual, collective, environmental, and organizational factors that affect the health of human populations. Students will use descriptive and analytic approaches to examine the distribution of disease and current and emerging health trends. Interventions for primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention will be explored in the broader context of determinants of health to promote well being of individuals and communities. Students registered in this section will participate in a global practicum experience during which the skills learned throughout the semester will be applied in an international setting. Students may only earn credit for NUR 561  or 561G.
