Honors Program
The University Honors Program is a community of thinkers who actively seek wisdom and virtue in community. Honors students research, discuss, and debate the fundamental questions of life through advanced interdisciplinary seminars that fulfill many University general education requirements. The Honors Program is a University-wide academic program that students take in conjunction with their majors and minors.

Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Program
California Baptist University offers a Military Science and Leadership Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program on campus and an Air Force ROTC program through concurrent enrollment at California State University, San Bernardino. Students may also enroll in ROTC courses at another institution while completing their degree programs at California Baptist University. Representatives from other participating ROTC programs make regular visits to California Baptist University to provide information to prospective students.
Scholarships may be available for books, tuition, and fees associated with various major fields of study. For more information about the Air Force ROTC program contact the CSUSB Aerospace Studies Department at 909.880.5440. Students interested in concurrent enrollment should contact the Office of the University Registrar at California Baptist University.
Single Subject Matter Competency Programs
California Baptist University offers a selection of state approved subject matter competency programs as listed below. Candidates planning to teach in California must demonstrate subject matter competence. Subject matter competency may also be met through different means. Interested individuals can meet with a School of Education advisor to explore alternative options.
