UAS 326 - Medium Unmanned Aerial Systems Operations II

When Offered: Summer
The course will be a blend of academics, simulator sorties, and flight training/sorties on a specific unmanned aerial system command and control system for medium size UAS and beyond line of site (BLOS) operations. The academics, and simulator/flight sorties will include preflight operations, normal command and control, recovery, and emergencies including lost link, lost communications, loss of power, and loss of battery power to mention a few of the aspects. The class will include simulator and flight training that allow the student to practice what they have learned in the academics throughout the course culminating in scenario-based training of several operational missions.
