The practicum experience focuses on applying a theoretical and evidence-based foundation to the FNP role in the assessment, diagnosis, planning, management, and education of individuals with chronic conditions in the outpatient setting. Emphasis will be placed on health management and independent practice. Requires 135 hours of supervised clinical practice with a preceptor.
